Sharing files and folders

A share link can be made for a single file or for a whole folder, from the three-dot menu. Anyone with the link can open or download what it points to, without needing a FastDrive account of their own.

On Standard and up, a share link can be protected with a password and set to expire after a chosen time — useful for anything you would rather not stay open forever.

A receive page works the other way round: it is a link you send to a client so that THEY can send YOU files, with no account needed on their side. A receive page can be set to close automatically after a number of days, so it does not stay open once the job is done.
