Refund policy

When you get your money back, and how to ask. Storage plans can run for up to three years, so this matters more here than it does for something you buy once.

Last updated 9 September 2026

1. The 14-day change of mind

If you are a consumer, you have 14 days from the day you subscribe to change your mind and get a full refund, whether or not you have uploaded anything. This is your legal right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations in the UK, and under equivalent distance-selling rules in the EU.

We apply the same 14-day window to business customers as a matter of policy, even though the law does not require it.

Ask within 14 days and we refund in full. There is no form, and we will not ask you to justify it.

2. After the first 14 days

After 14 days, the term you have paid for is not refundable, and we do not give pro-rata refunds for the part of it you have not used. You keep the service until that term ends.

This matters most on the two and three-year terms, which are cheaper per month precisely because they are paid up front. If you are not sure yet, buy a shorter term.

Two exceptions. If we are at fault — the service is not what we described, or is unavailable for a sustained period — tell us and we will put it right, which may include a full or partial refund. And if you have a statutory right to a refund in your country that goes further than this policy, that right applies regardless of what this page says.

3. Features described as roadmap

Some features on the pricing page are marked roadmap, meaning they are planned and not built yet. If you bought a plan mainly for a roadmap feature and it has not arrived, tell us. We would rather refund you than hold you to a plan you bought for something that does not exist.

4. Cancelling instead of refunding

Cancelling and refunding are different things. Cancelling stops your subscription renewing and keeps your files available until the end of the term you have paid for. You can cancel at any time from your account.

Download anything you want to keep before the term ends — files are deleted after a short grace period once a subscription is over.

5. Renewals

We will remind you before your subscription renews. If a renewal is charged and you tell us within 14 days that you did not want it, we will refund it in full and cancel the subscription.

6. How to ask for a refund

Email hello@fastsites.app from the address on your account, or from any address, telling us which account it is about. You do not need to give a reason.

We aim to respond within 2 working days. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method. Where Paddle is the merchant of record for your purchase, the refund is issued through Paddle, and how quickly it appears depends on your bank — usually a few working days.

7. If we cannot agree

Tell us why, at hello@fastsites.app, and a person will look at it again. If you are a consumer and we still cannot resolve it, this does not affect your right to take the matter further, including through your local consumer protection body or the courts.
